One Component Waterproofing Slurry
BAYCOSEAL-1K is a cement based, one component, rigid waterproofing material.
Areas of application
BAYCOSEAL-1K is used at both interior and exterior applications as a waterproofing material on concrete, masonry and plaster at,
- Underground structures and basements,
- Heating pipes, pits, sewage work structures,
- Tunnels and sluices,
- Pools and potable water tanks,
- Retaining walls,
Old buildings which are not protected against posterior moisture and soaking water.
Advantages
It consists of quartz sand, portland cement additives. BAYCOSEAL-1K does not contain any materials which can negatively effect reinforcement. The advantages of the material are:
- BAYCOSEAL-1K has a strong resistance against negative water pressure. It can be applied on every waterproofing application.
- It can be used to form a system with elastomeric waterproofing slurry BAYCOSEAL-2K/M.
- The material is very economical. It can be used to level surfaces under waterproofing layers as a primer.
- It has perfect adhesion to concrete.
